Welcome!

Have Your Cake... And Eat It Too! Welcome to my cake blog. I began baking and taking Wilton classes in January 2008 and it has quickly become a passion and something I strive to improve upon with each new order. Please take a moment and browse through some of the cakes I have decorated. If you need a cake for any occasion let me know and I will be more than happy to satisfy your sweet tooth!

This cake was done for a two-year-old's birthday. The cake was chocolate and most of the decorations are buttercream except for the turrets which are sugar cones dipped in colored chocolate! The girl's mother had little Disney princess figurines which completed this fantasy castle cake. (12.6.08)

This cute cake was done for a 6-year-old's birthday party. For some reason the base looks navy but it was actually bright purple. She loved it! (3.21.09)

A baby shower cake! The big blocks are decorated with baby images on all sides. A, B, and C are the mother's, baby's and father's initials. (3.8.09)

This fun Barbie was also done for a 6-year-old's birthday party. She is bright pink with shiny pink sparkles all over her dress. The sweetheart neckline is accented with pearl-like dots. The best part is that her dress is vanilla cake! (3.27.09)

It was the Pittsburgh Steelers versus the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII and this cake replicates their logos. In order to make sure it was a crowd pleaser, the Steelers cake was chocolate, the Cardinals cake was vanilla and the logo cake was both! (2.1.09)

This cake was definitely a fan favorite! It was also massive; the buggy is 16 inches across! The occasion was a double baby shower and both moms were having boys. (8.31.08)

This cake was for my friend's housewarming party. Since she loves Asian decor I made this cherry blossom inspired cake to match her house! The cherry blossoms are royal icing and completely edible (except for the stamens). (4.5.08)

It was a day at the beach for a 50-year-old mom's surprise birthday party. This ocean inspired devil's food flavored cake was exactly what she wanted. The shells are colored chocolates and the sand is sugar speckled graham cracker crumbs. (12.6.08)

Thanks for looking and check back soon as I'll continue to upload past and present cake pictures!
